Doug Kelly President & C.O.O.
Doug brings over 20 years of management experience in the technology and automotive industries specializing in implementing innovative concepts and business systems. Doug is skilled at building, leading and facilitating teams in the delivery of tangible results in the areas of sales, marketing, operations management, systems integration, implementation, product management, supply chain management, materials management and purchasing.

Doug's expertise includes process improvements, technical assessment, technical design, software selection, implementation, systems integration, supply chain management, product management and organizational development. He is experienced in leading and imlementing significant technology initiatives including e-commerce,CRM,ERP, Telephony and B2B integration.

Mr. Kelly has served as president of Fix Auto, director of sales for Ventro Corp. and vice president of professional services for Industrial Solutions, both B2B technology companies. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with the DuPont Performance Coatings business, where his responsibilities included leadership of internet/extranet, customer database and customer care center.

Mike Hastings Chief Technology Officer
Mike has been developing software for the Collision Repair industry for 20 years. In 1983 Mike co-founded Auto-Tec Computer Management Systems along with Ted Hill. Mike developed the CRMS (Collision Repair Management System), which later became the Akzo System when acquired in 1988. Mike joined Akzo Systems as Director of Research and Development. In 1994 Mike joined Mitchell International where he led the development of ABS, a Windows based Body Shop Management System. Over a period of 6 years Mike and his development team produced 12 releases of ABS. Each release of ABS has enhanced the features and usability of the product to the point where it is the premier Windows based management system for the Collision Repair Industry.

Mr. Hasting's has served as chairman of CIECA's Interoperability Work Group that created CIECA's EMS standard. The EMS standard is an Estimate to Management system bridge that enables two way transactions to be sent between the two systems.

Mike also worked as Chief Technology Officer for a WEB Technology Company that developed ASP applications for the Collision Repair Industry. The product called eShop, addressed the needs of Collision Repair Multi-Shop Networks and Consolidators.

Mike holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering (8T0) from the University of Toronto.

Sean Carey Vice President of Sales and Marketing
As VP of Sales and Marketing Sean works our with our clients to maximize their potential and build strong strategic partnerships across all sectors with Cyncast.

Sean has more than 25 years experience in the automotive industry. Sean began his working life in engineering and embarked on his sales and marketing career with the UK’s largest parts distribution company during which time he earn a degree in marketing from the charted institute of marketing. In 1991 Sean joined Nissan at its London headquarters, where he created, launched and managed Nissan’s Certified Collision Repair Program. In 1995 Sean moved to the USA where he established Carter & Carter and managed its development and growth into one of the leading automotive consulting firms. Sean has consulted at the highest level with all sectors of the automotive claims industry and has a keen understanding of the needs of repairers, insurers, OEMs and industry vendors.

Since moving to the USA Sean has earned a bachelors degree in business administration from the American Intercontinental University.

Gregor Peterson Director of Client Services
As Director of Client Services, Gregor works with CynCast’s Call Center and Customer Support teams to provide services, support, and training to repairers.

Before joining CynCast in 2005, Gregor worked in customer service and call center operations in the financial services industry, where he was responsible for quality assurance and workforce management for a multi-site, international call center network at TD Waterhouse brokerage.

Jim Puskas Product Manager
As Product Manager at CynCast, Jim assists in design, implementation, and support of CynCast’s core technologies.  This includes working with clients to develop technical product specifications, delivering value and quality to products in the developmental stage.  Jim’s team is also responsible for the rollout and ongoing support for CynCast products, including the Data Pump.
Jim Puskas has been working full-time at CynCast Corporate since graduating from USC in May 2003 with a degree in Engineering.  He began his involvement with the company through an internship with Mike Hastings, CynCast’s Chief Technology Officer, in 2001

Lee Kaplan Senior VP & Chief Administrative Officer (Enterprise)
Lee Kaplan is the Chief Administrative Officer and a Senior Vice President for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the largest rental car company in North America. In this role, Kaplan has overall responsibility for risk management, legal, government affairs, and communications functions of a company with more than 7,000 rental locations and more than 68,000 employees in five countries.

Kaplan began his career with Enterprise in 1985 as Assistant Controller in Southern California. He was promoted to Controller in 1987 and was named Vice President of Finance in 1990. Kaplan was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Risk Management in 1997, overseeing third party liability claims, first party damage claims, and vehicle repair for the company.

In 2003, he was promoted to his current role of Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President expanding his role to oversee the office of General Counsel, the Legislative and Government Affairs Department, and Corporate Communications.

Kaplan earned a B.A. in economics and accounting from the University of California – Santa Barbara. Prior to joining Enterprise, he earned a CPA while working at Ernst & Whinney, a National public accounting firm. Kaplan serves on the board of several non-profit organizations in St. Louis.

John Edelen
John Edelen, recently retired from Allstate Insurance Company, was the officer responsible for the company’s policies, practices and procedures for the handling of auto damage claims.

Over the course of his thirty-five year career with Allstate, John has had a broad range of officer assignments, including the areas of claim strategy, claim litigation, a regional profit center operation, the establishment of an Italian subsidiary of Allstate International, and the post-acquisition launch of Allstate’s Sterling Collision Repair Centers. He has participated significantly in many of Allstate’s key strategic initiatives involving claim service processes and technologies.

John is a graduate of Rutgers College, of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He is a graduate of New York Law School, and was admitted to the practice of law in New York and New Jersey.

John has participated in a number of executive post- graduate courses, including studies at: The Sloan School of Management at MIT, The Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University, and a consortium of MIT, Tufts and Harvard, in Boston.

Over the past ten years, John has served on a number of for-profit and non-profit boards, including: Tech-Cor, LLC; Sterling Collision Repair Centers; the Certified Aftermarket Parts Association (CAPA); and, the Inter-industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR), where he currently serves as Board Chairman.

John resides in Chicago, Illinois, and Charleston, South Carolina
