AutoWatch Launches New Version Following Integration with CynCast

ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif., Oct. 20, 2008, Monday, October 20, 2008
AutoWatch recently completed integration with CynCast. CynCast’s unique Data Pump™ technology has been helping update the ARMS® Automotive program for the last three years and is helping nearly 3,000 shops improve front office efficiency. Using the new AutoWatch system eliminates duplicate entry and provides better control of the repair process for those permitted to receive electronic updates. Enterprise ARMS® Automotive Exchange utilizes CynCast’s Data Pump™ technology, which offers benefits to all industry trading partners involved in managing cycle time. It automatically provides Enterprise and insurance companies with electronic data to update the actual rental days left in the process and the estimated vehicle delivery date.

AutoWatch allows vehicle owners to view their vehicles in the repair process via a body shop web site or an insurance portal. AutoWatch helps put the customer at ease and increases the level of communication with the customer via the Internet. With the program, vehicle owners have access to their vehicle photos and status 24 hours a day, seven days a week. At present more than 3,600 shops participate in AutoWatch.
“We are excited to be working with a company that is focused on helping repair shops improve cycle time and customer satisfaction,” said Doug Kelly, president and COO for CynCast. “Our relationship with AutoWatch is further evidence that integration between different systems is essential in order for insurers, repairers, rental providers, parts vendors and others to take advantage of new software solutions.”
Dave Henderson, president of AutoWatch, called the integration with CynCast “another win for collision center operators, their customers and insurance companies.”
“This integration helps to streamline the daily process of keeping everyone informed.” Henderson said. “We are big believers that integrating systems and data is a good thing for our industry. The technology exists to eliminate wasted time with duplicate data entry, and this is a great example of companies working together to improve efficiencies in the collision industry.”
